      Jonathan Thomas:

      This is my new WIP minigame (with an emphasis on "minigame"!) for Atari STE, provisionally titled "Cavey Taxi". It's a mashup between Thrust-like games and Crazy Taxi, with the objective being to transport passengers between areas within a tight cave structure, fighting against the clock and fuel consumption.

      As with most of the things I create, there's a strong demoscene influence. In this particular effort, I'm showing off fullscreen parallax scrolling along with a nifty particle system. DMA sound will also be present in the final version.

      I'm hoping to release as a free download for 1 Meg STE at some point in Feb or March 2026. Sorry, once again this won't be compatible with STFM - you'll need to upgrade!
